Science
Science fires pupils’ curiosity about phenomena and events in the world around them and offers explanations. Pupils learn to link practical experience with ideas and to develop and evaluate explanations. They learn how knowledge and understanding in science are rooted in evidence. Pupils question and discuss issues that may affect their own lives.
Our two science laboratories enable pupils to have access to specialist equipment and facilities for the majority of their science lessons. We have three science specialist teachers who teach the majority of the subject and give support when non-specialists are delivering the curriculum.
